My mom terrorized me in general. i wasnt allowed to leave the house very often except to the backyard sometimes - wasnt allowed ot have friends. as a kid I'd scrub the entire house spotless - but she's come home angry about something and trash entire rooms to tell me what a slob i was. she was completely against fitness or working out - i got my ass beat if i tried to work out.

but then she'd feed me inhumane size portions (for even an adult) and beat my ass if I didnt eat them - or would yell at me for eating outside of dinner.

then sometimes her second husband would intentionally put soap in the food and make me eat it. - which in most cases I was puking by then.

another thing I'd be forced to do is clean instead of sleep and it would be the most ridiculous things - if I cried I was made to stand in the corner for hours and beaten if I didn't.

My stress free zone was reading, I was a huge book worm. and - reading at a college level at a very young age... however, one time i came home from school on my 13th birthday and she had thrown everything away and gutted my room. all my books. told me she was "sick and tired of how scared i made teachers because of how smart" i was and "maybe if you lose 100lbs ill buy you carpet." so i sort of gave up on everything at that point.

Often times, she didn't take me to school and i'd get in trouble at school for being late or not being there - but eventually she stopped taking me entirely and kicked me out at the ripe old age of 16.

anyways fast forward years later - im almost 25 now and went through hell to go back to school and do xyz to get to where I am now.

anyways I don't leave the house and suffer from a lot of mental illness now despite everything being good in my life with a great boyfriend and steady job I'm just unhappy and plagued by my past.

This Estonian children's movie. It's about these kids that are near the woods and it gets late, when this old hag tells them they need to go home with her. She effectively kidnaps them and makes them work endlessly in their little hut. There are also her two goblin companions. I had a DVD rip my dad had made of an old animation block I think might have been from MTV or something late 80s. Had this on it, a bunch of "things never seen" and probably some other shit. That shit got me good. But later on I saw the whole movie and remember being really put off by the Comet scene at the end. Something really wrong about the whole thing.
