My dad has. He had a heart attack and flat lined a few times. He described him seeing himself floating over his body and the doctors working on him. I think he said he saw a light, but then he came back.

I've had the "life flash before your eyes" shit that people talk about.

I almost fell off a cliff as a kid. My family/friends/school/dog/etc all popped into my head for a brief second, probably my brain scanning itself trying to figure out wtf to do.

Luckily, I reached out and grabbed on, and am here to tell the tale.

Shit was weird.

I would share my story, but it isn't as interesting as some of the other NDE experiences I've heard about, like out-of-body experiences, or dissolving bodies when struck by lightning, and a lot of other weird stuff. Mine lasted about 4 seconds so I didn't get much a peak unto the other side, just saw what I thought to be my 'soul'

I have had a couple of "episodes" lets say, where I believed I was close to death.
More like i had pushed myself as close to drug/alcohol induced state of comatosis as i would care to go.
It was scary mostly, everything went black and i could feel myself slipping away.
It was a very dark, heavy feeling of sinking down into a black abyss.
I didnt see any light at the end of the tinnel or anything like that

Was digging a hole at the beach
Got a bit into it and made a tunnel
Someones unsupervised spawn ran across the top
It collapsed
Called or help, nobody hears me the first few times
Seems like I will suffocate
Family dug me out

i guess you could call it an experience even though i didnt necesarilly see anything.

about 6 months ago i attempted suicide (amitriptilyine OD) but was revived.
i remember fading i remember some frames just before i fell down.
once i was out there was nothing but darkness but it was single the most serene thing i've ever felt.darkness in all directions pleasantly numb and able to think for what seemed to go on forever.next was me waking up in jerking motion to find myself cuffed to the hospital bed cause i apparently went to a casino under the influence of ami.
second encounter was bout 2 months ago, i got stabbed 3 times in the back of the head whilst fighting off multiple assailants with my friend.some douche sneaked up on me and stabbed away, i didnt lose consciousness right after the blows , i didnt even know i got stabbed until they started running at which point i knew something was out of the ordinary but i didnt overanalyze it and ran after them in bout 3 mins or so into the chase i passed out and that same comfortable void surrounded me once again.thoughts,ideas,the vast infinite emptiness and physical pleasure.

i suppose this should qualify for a NDE
