I own seasons 1-5 of the original series, and I have noticed that a lot of the episodes, especially those written by Serling himself, have a lot of imagery and symbolism (both physical and implied) that leads me to believe that Rod Serling, along with at least some of the other writers, were true initiates. What do you think? Is it just something to do with coincidence or perennial philosophy-esque things?

Watch old TV shows = Paranormal investigation

By Intitiate I mean anything from Masonry to O.T.O. and related systems. Also, conspiracy theorist please stay away, I'm not speculating on nonsense, I'm merely curious if anyone knows what lodge he may have belonged to, if any, if anyone else has recognized this symbolism, and that sort of thing. Thanks!

I don't believe you understand the nature of my questions. I think it belongs here on /x/ because of the nature of the show itself, but also because there's always some lunatic on here ranting about how the Masons MUST be child fucking satanists, so I don't see why having a logical discussion about a guy who actually was very likely an initiate is such an unreasonable concept.

I don't know much about it, because I am only half way through season 1 atm. But it is such a fucking good show. So many good concepts. Pretty much everything I see in modern day culture, I can say twilight did it first

Indeed. He was a pioneer in his field. Also, I just checked out his wiki page, the dude was quite a badass.

Those are all VERY good. Monsters... was my first taste way back in grade 7. Lately I've really been into the sentimental ones like The Hunt. Last Rites of Jeff Myrtle bank, Jess-Belle, and Printer's Devil are also some recent favorites. It's really hard for me to pick all time favorites for T.Z. I really love the guy who plays the Obsolete Man and devil in Printer's Devil. He's fantastic.
