I honestly never liked the format of the current sticky. The picture always was awful and it needs to go.

I'd also like to see instead of a dump of a zillion links that quickly go out of date a more inspirational and interesting format.

I would propose that after the mandatory /x/ rules and what belongs here what doesn't post there should be a series of posts afterwards.

Each of them should contain an appropriate picture and a summary of an interesting paranormal topic. Almost as an example of what a good post should be on /x/ and as food for thought on other threads.

For example one post would be about cryptids, a quick summary of what they are and some examples of common ones. The next could be a rundown on ayylmaos. There could be one for occult and diviniation generals.

Just some quality posts about relevant topics that can give people a good intro into the paranormal and contain enough basic information that newbies can be directed there.

Simple dumps of links are good and all but they are very boring.

There's two major thing's that need to happen to get this rolling:

1) /x/ forms a hive mind of new links and subjects for the sticky in a 50+ post text doc

2) Contacting the board admin(s) to make the change

I have no idea how step 2 will happen, I was hoping someone knew how to contact them

I have always been a fan of the weather.

We should consider if we want to encourage truths and finding unknowns in opposition to all the fiction and role playing here. Both are important and there will always be at least little of each but there should be a general stance on the matter.

This has been tried before, as you said. I think there was even a huge collection of information gathered ready to go to become the new sticky along with a new coherent format and suggestions that would have been easy to implement if the mods wanted. All the work was basically done, and still there were no changes made. The mods have forsaken /x/.

This kind of thread keeps popping up, but the mods never do anything.

I still think there should be some rules or guidelines of making threads here. I feel like "creepy images and stories" is too broad.

Good and serious threads aren't that many, and people capable of discusing in them are even less.

I don't complain about the board because this it's what it is.

The fact that it got stickied and is still stickied boggles my mind. That list should have been made into a pastebin or some shit, then linked in a proper sticky thread written properly by a mod. It's a laughing stock.

We can even create level readings. Like Level one student. The republic, Art, etc...
