I just finished reading the kybalion, and can say that I agree with its philosophy about the universe and beyond. However, it seems like a lot of this text is about self-mastery and empowerment, but doesn't really go into how to apply the principles into every day life. Where do I go from here?
Also (pic related), were the Egyptian magicians that went 1v1 with Moses in the OT actually practitioners of Hermeticism?

Kybalion is New Thought with a paint job, not Hermeticism. Read Corpus Hermeticum.
What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Thanks bros, I'll look into these. IIH looks promising.

To see if reality can be changed without obvious normal methods. The OT prohibits the use of magic, while at the same time gives an account of Egyptians using it almost to the level of God's power. Of course I'm skeptical about whether it really exists, but this is /x/ after all and im curious to see for myself if its legit.

Those are metaphors, it speaks of ancient alchemy, you need to understand the base(/basic foundation) of the ancient system to use the hints given there.
You have to dig a really deep hole to understand it, even though the answers you require are already open publicly accessible, infront of you.
If you seek it, you will find it.
If you know what youre looking for, that knowledge will reveal itself to you and become obvious. (Not automatically though ofcourse, you still need to look for it a bit, but you'll understand that it is it, once you find it)
