I keep having the same dream

For the past 8 days I have had the same dream every night. It goes as following.

I find myself sitting in a prison cell in a dark corridor sometime during the night. After a while a group of guards comes over to me through the corridor and tells me I have to come with them. They lead me to a small room where they shave my head and cut of the left leg of my trousers. Then they proceed to lead me in another room where there is an electric chair. They make me sit down and strap me in. After the final strap around my chin is fastened one of the guards comes over to me and asks me if i'm comfortable and whether I can breath. This question seems very puzzling to me since I know i'm about to get executed, so what is the point in being able to breath. Their concern seems very touching, and strangely sympathetic, to me though.
After that they place a hood on my head. My breathing becomes very heavy. After a few seconds I hear a loud click, like an old light switch being thrown, and suddenly everything becomes a bright reddish yellow.

I used to have the same dream occasionally over the course of the last couple of years. The last week or so I have been having this exact same dream every night. What could be happening? I still wake up well rested, and I don't seem to suffer from more stress then usual.
