The internet is creating mental viruses at an exponentially increasing rate - memeplexes like this one are one example, but I'm sure you can think of many more. Culture is evolving exponentially faster due to the increase in all aspects of communication due to the internet, which is now undeniably the driver of culture, and this includes pandemics of mental viruses. These pandemics can be identified by the production of magnified emotion and fierce personal investment, creating the conditions of conflict that degrade memetic immune systems as one desires the marginalization of their opponent so much that they will play fast and loose with the means - the evil ones must be destroyed. It is an ancient narrative, but timelessly effective, and now it is becoming omnipresent, seeping into every crack of culture, war in the abstract is parasitizing our minds, and mental warfare is much more efficient than physical, creating the same conditions of it while being sustainable. I've actually been thinking lately... If meme magic really is in play than how is it that Kek is such a powerful and invasive force on /pol/ but he's barely asserted any control or influence here? If anything /x/ has been declining rapidly as of late with more and more bullshit RP threads making is look less and less legitimate in the eyes of the rest of 4chan.

It got me thinking... Maybe it's because that we, as /x/philes, have people in our community capable of understanding exactly WHAT Kek is, who his rivals are, and how to manipulate him and the forces that he is born from. Moreover, we are equally capable of doing the same for any rival forces that may oppose Kek.

I'm honestly wondering if the decline in /x/ is so that Kek can have his small following of devout cult-like followers without any major opposition or critical analysis. If I were a Chaos good trying to become a major player on the board, the first thing I would do is try to cut off the potential influence of other primordial gods that might try to get in on this new age of Chaos.

Some faggot in this thread said that Thoth controls the flow of secrets and knowledge, that very well may be true, but I believe Kek to be one step further in control of these subjects. Why? The Ogdoad represents the first building blocks of reality that formed from the beginning void of the primeval waters. In short, Kek is not the god of chaos, and he is just a part of the Ogdoad which should be your guys' focus.
