If you'd ask me about lizard people a few years ago, I'd have laughed at you and dismissed you as a complete lunatic, well, I had an experience not too long ago with shape shifting humans that changed my perception of "reality":

>Camping with some friends, having a great time
>Realize that I'm running out of cigarettes
>Tell my buddy to come with me to the nearest store
>Nearest store is about a 50 min. walk away
>Get cigarettes, on our way back we encounter a lady
>Lady tells us that there's a shortcut to where we're headed, but we need to go offroad
