Post masonic art, questions, pictures, etc.
Are masons involved in the occult or magic, or is it just a glorified gentlemen's club?
>>18651041
It's a little bit of both. Many lodges have a library that are filled with subjects like alchemy, magic and occult history.
How can they be free if they're part of an order with strict rules? Check mate, Illuminati.
>>18651056
Free as in free thinkers. Not like the regulars or normies that gobble up biased media and entertainment.
>>18650905
Should I stop fapping ?
>>18651086
It depends. Do you find yourself jacking off like 6 times a day? If so then you might need to consider doing a hobby to take up your time and keep your mind busy.
If it's once a day and you find yourself doing other hobbies or things, like school or a job then you're fine. But it depends on your situation.

Colors ..symbols...math... vibrations ... I'm seeing signs everywhere

There are a lot of guys in the Craft who like exploring occult / esoteric stuff, and a lot of guys that won't touch it with a ten foot pole. I think there's a lot more of the latter than the former, although the younger guys seem to be more esoterically-minded.
>>18651060
>Free as in free thinkers.
That's a laugh. They'll believe and do anything for chump change.
Freemason here, just going to write this post and go take a shower - never to return to this thread.

how close is the illuminati working with masons. my dad was the leader of a lodge, and mom was leader of eastern star when i was younger.

For you
>>18653215
It's really not at all difficult.
You must
>Believe in a God.
>Be a man.
>Be born free, not a slave. (This rule is an old holdover, but it still serves it's purpose in some parts of the world.)
>It helps to not be a felon
Just go down your town lodge, or whichever one you want to join, next time they have an event and ask questions, say you're interested. A mason is forbidden from recruiting members. The most he can say if he thinks someone should join is, "Well have you ever considered joining?" "Does masonry seem like something you like?"
You'll have a meeting with the "investigative committee" and they'll want to know your reason for joining. Masonry is about self betterment and studying various philosophies. They just want to see what kind of person you are/you're friends/family if they're around.
Masonry is best described as
>A system of morality, veiled in allegory, and illustrated by signs and symbols.
>>18654400
I'm sorry, I didn't word that well.
Masons *are* forbidden from recruiting, but if you go down there asking questions, and say you're interested, they'll definitely hook you up with what you need to join.
What about the trick chairs and that kind of bullshit
>>18654507
Trick chairs?
I believe in the intelligent design, which is kinda creationism but not exactly. am I able or not to join?
Isn't it somehow a secret to be a member? I know you make an oath with your life saying that you will never tell anyone about being a mason, what happens if you do it?
>>18654968
No. It's more complicated than that. You can reveal that you are a Mason. It's a thing to be proud about. There are many masons that wear Masonic rings.
The only thing you cannot reveal is Masonic secrets. For example you cannot discuss with other non-masons on the material of the meetings you've participated. If you break any Masonic rule, you are kicked out and banned from all lodges.
>>18652098
I disagree.
If the lodge you're in closes due lack of space for the craft, is it possible to join other lodges in the city even if you're apprentice?
>>18654958
As long as you believe in a higher power then you're good. George Washington was an agnostic and he got in.
>>18653247
K, but wtf is that
>>18655036
It should be, yeah. Just go talk to the lodge you're interested in joining, prove you're an apprentice Mason, and go from there.
>>18655025
Undestood.
Have you heard about Serge Raynaud de la Ferriere? Years ago I found one of his books, The Black Book of Freemasonry, there he reveals some masonic secrets, and was stated in the book that he got support from many lodges...
Also he believed that he was the Christ of the Aquarius era, what do you think about it?
>>18655091
Not the guy you responded to but that sounds like nonsense.
>>18655025
>For example you cannot discuss with other non-masons on the material of the meetings you've participated.
Sure you can. You just can't disclose the secrets.
Most places encourage you to share content of the meetings, anyway.
Just how gay are the masons?
>>18655193
Guys get expelled for being homosexuals, so not very.
>>18655270
It's not that hard to deny it, you know.
>>18655179
What makes you say that? My understanding has been that the meeting is essentially off limits other than information directly related to someone outside them (i.e. telling someone their application was accepted)
>>18655309
>What makes you say that?
The Ob. in most jurisdictions (yours might be different), and statements from quite a few GMs. Most recently the ProGM of UGLE. Only the secrets need be secret, because that's just a matter of your promise. Anything else can be found out freely.

>who like exploring occult / esoteric stuff
how far have they gotten?
