Question for fellow occultists: what religion(s) do you identify with?
Agnostic theist. In search for what I can call god/s
I can't call myself a santero yet, so I just say ecclectic pagan
>>18623447
Occult pagan
>>18623447
Animism, with some Germanic paganism mixed in.
>>18623447
I'm not sure, but I'd like to be a Subgenius or a Freemason. I do believe in a God but not like the ones in the other religions
>>18623447
I dont know...
Trying to choose between Fire Emblem: Birthright or Fire Emblem: afterbirth
Gnostic.
I seek eternal wisdom and ancient knowledge about existance itself.
Also I am extremely anti-semitic.

Jews are fine, it's the niggers that are the problem
>>18624103
I can handle a couple nigs in my city, but God forbid a Jew in my bank
I don't see a point in following a single religion. They all have something to teach us. Following only one instills a whole set of limiting beliefs.
I love the Tao teh Ching, but I don't think that makes me a Taoist. Or maybe it does, who cares.
Agnostic/apatheistic Taoist I guess, I like Zen Buddhism as well but idk if a can fully believe the Dharmic metaphysical canon.
>>18623447
The right one (:
>>18624153
fuck you then nigger lover

Underrated post.
Deist. I feel as though the fact that the universe exists, and has a constant cycle in which nothing goes to waste (even if it takes millions of years), is evidence that something designed the universe. Whether it's a god, a pantheon, some universal force, or something we can't comprehend, I have no idea.
I've been looking into Gnosticism over the past year, though, and find it fascinating and a bit logical. I've avoided converting to it, though, because I feel like it's just my depression talking.
neo-druid nature is cool I guess....

This is illogical nonsense. Nothing you said points toward a need for a god.

8 but the most would be Trika Saivism.
None.
It's not that I object to the idea of a God or gods, but they apparently object to me. Pic related.
>>18623447
I believe in Good God.
>>18623447
I believe in good faith.
Dudeism, the religion of takin' 'er easy. It's basically Taoism flavored with The Big Lebowski.

none , none of them identify with me.
so much human hate and self loathing in all of them.
>>18625041
Most gods hate me by default, why is it "edgy" to hate them back?
>>18625126
How do you know they hate you?
Saluto Nex Alea Ave Nex Alea.
>>18625126
You know nothing of hatred, infant. You merely adopted the hatred. I was born in it. Molded by it.
>>18624477
Double Dubs... Shadilay
>>18625126
You're just looking at the wrong gods friend. You won't find any solace in the ones most people worship. I can assure you thoroughly that there are more esoteric gods that don't hate you for the reasons you've implied.
>>18625126
Santisima Muerte doesn't hate you.
>>18625617
Santa Muerte is considered a protector of LGBT people (and drug dealers, prostitutes, smugglers, basically anyone the church doesn't like).
As a saint of LGBT people, it's interesting to note that she is female, but usually portrayed with a masculine skull structure; suggesting perhaps that Santa Muerte is trans herself.

Some amalgamation of pantheism, satanism, nihilism, paganism, gnosticism, hermeticism, most eastern philosophies, etc. It's almost like a layered cake that expands out and then back in on itself forever if I had to try and describe it. Maybe there's a movement or philosophy that this would fall under that I'm unaware of.
Realistically, the answer is none. Or maybe all of them, so to speak. Each have their own value.
If I had to pick just one, I'd go with nihilism. Everything else falls under "I want to believe".

>Thus is my message to Man: the twofold way. The way is contrary and complementary; In conflict and in harmony. Both paths cannot be followed, yet both must be. Thus is my lesson and thus is my demand.
agnostic theism, maybe deism
I find those labels to be insufficient in describing something so complex and impermanent

Best girl.
On an occult note, I think of myself as a pragmatic animist - I believe that acting as if you interact with non-demonic (i.e. not necessarily evil) conscient spirits is a real force for good with basic precautions, and it works even if the spirits are just imagination and we live in a non-spiritual world - just as self-improvement method.
On a more of a onthological note, I think I'm taoist.
Celtic Paganism. I just agree with most of what we actually know about it in terms of how they felt "things work".
Chaos Magic if anything, if only because it best represents my syncretist beliefs.
>>18624103
I'm black, why the hate? Please give an actual reason instead of just spouting off insults
Truth, religion is a means to that end.
