Bundy was a classic psychopath who would change his persona to fit any situation required. He also was a notorious liar, who would blame violent slasher flicks (ironically enough) and porn for both his and other people's violent tenancies.Ted was full of shit, so I don't take the whole "entity" thing seriously.

"the entity" was bundy's way of speaking about his crimes that relieved him of some of the burden of taking personal responsibility, a thing he struggled with until he was at the very end of his life when he finally opened up and spoke candidly. in particular, he catered his vocabulary to dr james dobson, the christian preacher, in order to gain sympathy and appear more like a victim himself - a victim of pornography, evil forces, whatever - rather than the solely guilty one. it may well be that, in his own way of seeing it, bundy thought of his "dark side" that emerged with ease once intoxicated as an entity, since a person experiencing dissociation from their normal personality does experience a shift within themselves which can feel like possession, but who can go over that metaphysical line and attribute it all to demons?

the smell was, in my opinion, simply human pheromones or whatever that got released whenever his mood shifted from his extroverted bubbly personable side to his selfish, dark, amoral, sexualized side. if he was smelled like this while in prison, it's likely due to not showering regularly etc. it is said that predators can smell their prey, and prey can smell their predators. ted bundy was considered a master predator, so to the rest of us, who are "prey" to serial killers, our ancient instincts tried to warn us about him.

his evil glare or stare is simply his psychotic personality gleaning through the carefully constructed persona mask he put on around others. particularly when attracted to a female, he could hardly hide his dark desires and intentions. prior to the chi omega sorority killings, he went to a disco and apparently gave such a death glare to a few girls, who made note of it to each other. they even thought he was a convict - he must have given off some kind of a tough persona even though he was not a typical macho man type of guy.

as for the changing chameleon looks, part of it is his natural features, which are plain yet handsome, and part of it is his own deliberate changes. for example, when he saw his lawyer in a certain kind of outfit, he appeared at next session in a very similar outfit. or he would appear in the morning with hair parted one way and then after a break appear in the afternoon with it parted the other way. all an attempt to fool witnesses and create doubt and confusion in them.

what he could not give away, and what got him charged with that initial kidnapping and 15 years in prison, was his walk. carol da raunch knew him from his walk as soon as he entered for the photolineup. a person's walk can be very distinctive.

ted was an intelligent person and due to an intense inferiority complex rooted in his odd family situation he developed a maniacally narcissistic ego which was further inflated beyond all bounds as he killed more and more women - beautiful, powerful women in their own right who would never accept him - and evaded the law. escaping from prison, twice, and going on the run, was adventurous for bundy and a point of pride. he was gleeful to finally brag about the details of his escapes. and indeed, they were very impressive.

Probably, but that doesn't mean he wasn't influenced. It doesn't really absolve anyone of anything because everyone is influenced, and it's not random that some people are serial killers and some people are not. People who go along with are doing so by their choice. Even if someone is possessed to the point where they literally no longer control their body, they still ought to be considered guilty if they kill someone in that state, the same way that a person who kills someone else while drunk (but without showing other signs of possession) is still guilty because they allowed themselves to get drunk.

Basically just a way of saying "natural smell." Again, the description doesn't sound terribly natural. Maybe it is a more extreme version of natural smells, but the point is that it seems notably more extreme than the usual.

Sure, but again it is a case of it being so extreme. Multiple personalies in themselves are really not usual and seem more and more clearly like possession the more of them there are and the more extreme their differences get.

Yes he did that, but is that the only thing that was going on, or did his face itself also change? Again you can note that these things blend into each other and it is not easy to read a written description of something and get the full sense of what it was like to be there.

It's probably a case of not going to convince someone who doesn't believe demons exist, but if you have other reasons to believe that demons exist then it seems likely that he was possessed to some extent. If demons exist, you really have to assume that they are always involved when people do evil things, and especially when people do especially evil things. When there are distinct physical signs, then it just makes it more obvious.

Does that mean people who do these things are not responsible, or not responsible enough to be locked up for a long time and maybe executed? No. It really doesn't. Don't fuck around with demons.

Lots of killers are described as having similar changes of expression and the way they carry themselves when they are in kill mode or let their guard down. It's more like them showing their true selves in the heat of the moment that being take over by a spirit or something. This could easily come out if they were drunk or severely agitated. As for the smell when a person is in panic mode and thinks their life is threatened their senses become sharper, Bundy probably always smelled kind of bad but if you thought he was going to kill you it would have stood out more. If he drank a lot that could be an explanation, alcoholics stink after a while
