This, is what I'd basically guess. He's not as partisan as people make him out to be and drops some heavy next-world, spiritual shit out of nowhere. Some of what he says is probably bullshit, but he drops some truths just as much. Whatever it's worth, he believes in humanity and the triumph of our spirits, so he's one of the good ones imo.
