I heard that it happened and talked to some biologists that think that it's perfectly possible.

But I have never seen a picture of them, like in your drawing.

My dad used to work sanitation in NYC, and had to go down in the sewers every now and then. He said he saw small gators twice. Said they looked like babies.

There is plenty of evidence of sewer gators in the past, I'm not sure if there are any new reports of ADULT sewer gators this century

I've been releasing baby alligators into sewers for years, but I'm not sure how big they're getting. I throw raw meat in there from time to time, but it's pretty hard to check on the little guys. They move around a lot!
Yeah, sometimes I wonder if it's all worthwhile. Then I just look at their smiling faces, and I know it's worth it.

Well an episode of monsterquest proved that it is plausible for gators to live in sewers under certain conditions. The main limiting factor would be the amount of food available. There may very well be gators in the sewers of major cities, but it is likely a very rare occurrence, not something to ever really worry about if you find yourself down there. Raw sewage is much scarier.
