Pretty much mages who feed off of negative emotions and the fear of people. Energy Vampires are actually fairly common and most of them just think they are, or are, sociopaths. Even on a strictly unparanormal sense, they are often those engaging in abusive relationships with loved ones or friends for power within that group.

Well they were all pretty much slags and he was their literal king for a bit. They would do anything for him with nothing in return, almost like crack fiends minus the crack. One of my best friends (arguably a soft Psychic Vampire himself) became astranged to the Vampire Anon early on, so he didn't get roped in. Once he saw how horrible that old group he was friends with in High School became, he rallied the troops to bring the anon down. He ended up collapsing in on himself anyways, but we did raid his apartment once. Nothing in there but some cheap board games, a bag of cannabis resin scraped from pipes and some candles. This Anon was pretty low level himself, but he did definitely have about half a dozen other degenerates at his beck and call.
