Any thoughts on this kind of thing? I'm kinda new.
Sorry, it deleted my main body of text....
Jung first believed that the archetypes were purely biological constructions in our psyche. But later in his life, he held that the archetypes were not just parts of our unconscious minds, but existent as universal patterns outside of the mind.
Is it possible that Jung's archetypes are universal motifs of some metaphysical world in which the unconscious mind has special access?

Did he say anything for creating segregated closed shell archetypes so they are not compromised by influence that should be deemed as impossible.

I always thought that the archetypes were sort of like fundamental aspects of the universe that occur throughout nature, in which life is intimately involved. Like the male/female duality, and emotions and attitudes and such.
But they are self-perpetuating by nature, thus 'gods'. What I mean is that the male/female duality is the source of life on the planet, and so it is regarded as holy.
