I'm babysitting my uncle's kid while he's out of town. He sleeps in the same room I do, so in case of a fire I can get him out of the house quickly. For the past 3 nights, I've heard a baby cry from downstairs. He doesn't have any other children, and I lock the door before I go to sleep. His name is Max and he's 3. Anyone know what to do?

(I'm not roleplaying btw, I'm fucking terrified. Pic isn't related, just a result of looking up spooky baby to try and lighten the tone.)
