If we didn't measure time with hours:minutes then it would be impossible to even have this kind of phenomenon. For example, on a completely different kind of clock where there were no hours and we only counted minutes, numbers run from 0000 to 1439. Midnight is 0000, 1 am is 0060, 2 am is 0120, and 11:59 pm is 1439, etc. Any spookiness you might find here from repeating digits would arise every 110 minutes, thereabout. Because if it's 0000 right now, in 110 minutes it would be 0110. O FUCK HOW SPOOKY MANE. And 110 minutes later it would be 0220. Eventually it would be 0990, and 111 minutes later it would be 1111, 6:31 pm, the moment of maximum spook.
And even this kind of spook only exists because we're using a base 10 number system. Where "10" means this many dots: .........., as opposed to all the other base 10s where 10 is something completely different

tl;dr- numbers are meaningless adjectives and are therefore nothing to respect or fear. Finding deep meaning in a number is like finding deep meaning in the shape of a letter of the alphabet

There's even a book called the book of numbers. Ever heard of gematria? Learn about God and you'll find what you're looking for.

Depending on how your number system is set up, any string of digits could have any value. 1234 is one thousand two hundred thirty-four in base ten, but it's one thousand six hundred ten (1610) in base eleven, two thousand fifty-six (2056) in base twelve, and it's different in any base. Not to mention the string of digits "1234" isn't even a valid number in bases smaller than 5.

So why then should any sequence of numbers that appears on a clock be of any significance?

Occasionally, it says 4:20 or 10:10 or 10:01 or 11:11 and you think "WOW SPOOKY MANG" and you're more inclined to remember those moments.
The only thing that would be _truly_ spooky is if the clock said 19:84, because that would be fucking impossible.
