Are you color/visual oriented by any chance?
I have similar dreams, except mine is mostly geometrical/numerical.
It might have something to do with synesthesia or how are brains work when we perceive. For me, shapes and numbers each have a distinct 'feel' to them so my emotions and perceptions are mostly filtered through them before registering in my mind. Subsequently, I am a science/math major because of that too.
I've noticed those geared towards art/music more oriented towards sounds or colors.
When we dream, it might be that our emotions appear through how our brain is oriented.

It could be interpreted in any way you want it to, but how I read it when it occurs in my own dreams, is heavy anxietys and insecurities. Feelings of self doubt, yadda yadda yadda. How I would deal with this information is to take some time out to treat yourself; Have a nice meal and meditate. Afterwards, take time to reflect on your problems. Find some solutions to said problems, choose the best one, and act on it.. I'm rambling, but I hope that I could have helped you in some way!
