might be good, but it probably won't. they'll probably try to "expand" on slenderman in some way and ruin the show. So many derivative works exist that if they stick to the copypastas 1:1 it will seem like it is ripping off the trope/shows/creatures that stole from slenderman to begin with.

Just watched it and I must say it was very OK. It was very much so made to shock soccer moms. It was entertaining but there was a lot of shitty fan art and I about lost it at that point. HBO usually does a good job with their documentaries and this wasn't by any means a bad documentary however if you spend any time on /x/ or really on the internet at all it's essentially a lot of back story you'll already know and then coverage of the two girls and how they were freaked out about Slenderman/ their mental illness. They did a good job of talking with the parents of the offenders but they don't go too in depth with the victim (Which is totally understandable she's like 13 and got stabbed. Likely doesn't wanna talk to some fucking people with cameras). I'd like to see a follow up to the documentary in once the trial is over. This feels somewhat incomplete/leaves you wanting more info.
