Fake. I don't even see how this would be hard to replicate. I think the way they move is genius though. It's genuinely creepy.

I like to believe that they're actually Gondolas that got memed into existence by the collective comfiness of thousands of .webms.

My thing is that the Native Americans have totem poll-like statues of them... so they're older than you think. Google it

Hey there gondola-san.

I personally think they're real. Aliens aren't humanoids or whatever, these fit the description more. What if they aren't even aliens and some really strange new animal. I like to think the fresno nightcrawlers live in swampy places which is why they have long legs.
