I guess so avanced/time-travelers. But I'm not really crazy about the whole angels/demons thing, to me that just seems like religious-types injecting their religion into it. More importantly, if they're malevolent, they'd have an interest in deceiving us into viewing them from a religious standpoint. By doing so we'd be assisting them in exercising control over us.
