Does any one else have a fear or a disquieting feeling about hearts? To me it feels so strange to have something pulsing inside of me so I can live. It's so eerie. Like there's an iron lung inside of me or something. My mom was a heart surgeon too.

As frightening as lightning.

I used to think about this kind of stuff alot, until I realised that nothing makes sense and the stuff that does makes too much sense. Your heart pumps blood through your body to provide nutrients and oxygen to cells. Why should a sentient computer be disturbed by its extension cord?

A symptom of being afraid to die.

Yours is actually a fascination, embrace it. Study the human body, including the heart (as it is part of the continuous system of the whole body.)

Yes
I hate being aware of my heartbeat and knowing that I have to rely on it just to exist
I imagine it would be peaceful to not have one or anything else that has to run continuously to keep you alive but then you probably wouldn't be able to kill yourself so I dunno
>>
Not exactly hearts but I find it unsettling that women carry a living thing in their bellies for many months. It must be so weird having a little grotesque monster occupying your insides

i don't find it disquieting at all. but, then again, i'm not a big fat baby.
