I'll start

>live in the middle of nowhere in rural Montana
>friends with a guy who lives/works on a ranch
>his younger brother is friends with my younger brother (they were freshmen at the time, I was a senior)
>kid was always kinda strange, but seemed alright
>talked about serial killers a lot
>one day a lockdown is called and the whole school was evacuated
>police show up
>multiple cars and a van
>find out that the kid cut another kid with a pair of scissors
>drug dogs detected something in his locker shortly afterwards
>bleach and ammonia
>he got expelled for attacking a kid and attempting to gas the school
>had to wear an ankle bracelet and got arrested for trying to go to his older brother's graduation because he was forbidden from being on school property
>kinda feel bad for him to be honest
>played tabletop games with his older brother a while after the incident
>he was wearing a torn up tshirt with bloodstains on it
>they work on a ranch so it was probably cow's blood from birthing or butchering but most farmers change out of their work clothes, especially when they have blood on them
>after all this, I still can't really hate the guy for some reason but I'm pretty sure he's a sociopath or something

I was a chubby teenage boy, i don't know what the hell that was all about.

Worked overnight. I was warned about him at shift change. I knew him soon as he came in the door. I spent several hours alone with him in the little pisspoor convenience store I worked in. Other than casinos it was the only place open for the night. I forget if he gave a name. He was short, dark, and little. He should not have frightened me, but he did. Deeply shook me. I was hesistant to do the few cleaning duties I had left so late in the night, I didn't want to turn my back to him. When my earliest morning customers began coming in, I finally found the cajones to tell him to hit the road. He left as he arrived, on foot.

This didn't happen to me, but to a friend.

>Brings a kid with down's syndrome with him, says he's his son
>One day comes up to door of friend with his down's 'son'
>He asks them if they want to buy some meat
>He says no
>Shuts the door on him
>Guy gets pissed off
>Wiggles the door knob
>Starts yelling
>comes around back and tries to get in through the sliding glass door
>Eventually gets in his truck and leaves

>random person comes out of nowhere (I say person because I honestly can't tell if this person was a guy or girl)
>person asks for ride to even worse part of town, like THE worst part shootings and gangs and all
>obviously I say no (was getting mad suspicious vibes)
>drive off
>driving down road
>see 3 police suvs with searchlights on driving along
>lights trained on bushes and sides of buildings

Did I just avoid becoming an accessory to crime? I think the person they were looking for was the attempted hitch hiker.

Also probably avoided being murderered too haha.

OP here, I'm glad there was some interest in this thread, these are some of my favorites but I don't see them much anymore. As thanks for posting, here's one of my favorite stories.

Driving to home town from collage. On 40 in fl going through Ocala national forest. See a van broken down on the side of the road. Two miles down the road see scumbag guy walking. 95 degrees outside. Say fuck it and pick him up but make him ride in bed of truck. Tells me to take a shortcut. Through the woods on trails. Stupid and say ok. He lights up a joint and we pass it through the sliding window. Get high as fuck. Has me twisting and turning through trails and within minutes I'm lost as fuck. Suddenly a tree is across the trail. Guy has already told me that this is the route he takes to work because it's quicker. I reason tree has been down for a while and he's lying. Luckily truck has 4wheel drive and self locking hubs so I dint have to get out. Able to get through soft sand and get around tree. After an hour or so in the woods we end up back on 40 about 3 miles from where we started. Drop the guy off at a car was and he disappears into the woods behind it. Seriously think he was going to try to rob me and leave me lost in the Forrest
