My theory: Scorpio Rising's approach to life is honestly pretty try-hard and that can put people off. It's kind of like having PTSD in an interpersonal sense. Indeed, there are shitty aspects, but I find that I still love those parts of who I am because they make me such a uniquely formidable and capable person. The scorpion inside of me can be happy without anyone or anything and in the face of extreme duress. Well I get along well with my friends, that's why they are my friends. I rely on them and they can rely on me.
I'm very honest to them (since I don't talk to my family as much, logically) and usually my closest friends arw those with the same tastes/interests as me, especially sense of humour.

That's funny I have Jupiter in my 12th house and I have a lot of trouble ever really going full blown hedonist even though I really want to sometimes- have only ever been with one person and only stick to weed and maybe mdma once in a while which helps a lot with the constant restriction. I've had the opportunities to be with a lot of people (I mean I'm just guessing from the way others have looked at me) but couldn't the thought gives me sweats and palpitations. It seems thrilling but know that when it comes down to it I wouldn't be able to go through, not even in my dreams can I cheat.

He even told me the reason he even thought to continue our dating rituals was because he saw my drawings/paintings and suddenly I was seen in a totally different light. I was taken aback at that, might seem like an insult to some but it still touched me as weird as that sounds.

Always had trouble opening up to others, drawing was an easy way to communicate with kids growing up. It's my only redeeming feature which is why I place so much esteem on it. I try to be open and socially graceful but never make a good impression, even on 4chan I overthink my response (which is why it took so long) and irl its almost impossible to be likeable right away. It's really dumb.

I want to be wanted I guess, and the only way is to create something amazing. That's what I get from my saturn 5th. I don't know if you have a desire to create or not but if people tell you you have a good voice I'd be inclined to believe it just from what you posted. I don't know.

on an intellectual level i can accept that people have their own perspective separate than mine and can grasp what the general consensus is, but there's always this block for me that makes it hard for me to accept
