What does /x/ think of binding spirits to artifacts? or those shops selling "Bound spirits". Is this even possible? I think the shops selling the spirits/entities are total bull shit. It got me thinking. Is it even possible to do such a thing?

Traditionally, yeah, it's common practice in some cultures. Catching spirits in bottles to consult later, sticking unfriendlies to a bird that you'll release. I can't say if it works in reality or not. I don't know for sure if there's such a thing as spirits.
As for shops, I won't tell you how to spend your own money, but you won't see me buying intangibles.

If possible, then it's a really fucking bad idea.
Can you bind a succubus?

What do you think about unbinding spirits from artefacts? Such as your bones

Yes, you can bind a spirit to an object. However, the process is extremely dangerous and should only be attempted by people who are very knowledgable and have had experience dealing with spirits before. Best case scenario, you've sucessfully gained a companion or have protected your house from unwanted entities; worst case scenario, you have an angry fucker who is gonna try their best to make your life a living hell.
Practice wisely.

Not OP but how would one learn about such matters?

Read a lot. Go to your local library, see if there are any books on spirits, or really, anything occult. There are also a lot of materials available online, and even some interesting things on /x/ (past all of the tulpas and succubi posts). Talk to others, whether it be online (which is much easier) or in your own community. Many big cities have popular ghost/occult/spiritual events, and perhaps past all of the emo kiddos, you can find a knowledgeable spirit worker (there are a lot more than you'd think!) -- maybe even someone who can teach you.
