Then there were other times that weren't scary like watching a herd of various very tiny ghostly animals cross from one side of my doorway to the other

I used to have "dreams" that were pretty much real life except I know I was asleep. I would be in my room or house at night and weird shit would happen. One time I dreamt that I was looking out my bedroom window and a car was pulling into our driveway and a man got out and was coming towards the door. I had extremely life like dreams my whole childhood but thankfully it went away as I got older. It's hard to explain and I'm curious as to what caused it.

There was this show when I was younger, in the 90's it was about these stuffed teddies that told stories on their owners beds, it wasn't a cartoon but kinda like muppets. Anyway when the show ended and they had their last episode the toys went in to this toy box to explore and then all this gas started coming out and the toys were floating around in packing foam and screaming 'the beans, the beans' then they all died. Messed me up good. Can't remember he name of the show though, maybe 'story time friends' or something.

I'm Australian by the way and it was a BBC show.

Main character was a freaky striped toy that was suppused to be made of fabric.

this kinda fears are pretty common. i think it comes from ancient times, when we like animals had to be sure that our sleeping place is safe(back than it could be pretty dangerous). so it kinda was good thing back than but now is unneceasary. maybe it will go away after some thousend years, or it will becomw handy if civilisation collapses and we have to sleep outsode again.

Had the worst waking nightmare because I guy drilled into the neighbours house, so I awoke the room was all distorted and shaky. I was full on panicking. I thought I suffered a stroke.
I fucking hate that guy.

Here is where it gets weird, later on the evening I saw a aurora for the first time. Later in the night while staring out, a car just exploded. Previous to that was this intense feeling of dread, which I now think caused this to happen.

But plenty of good came from that incident. I became a little introspective, and took up reading properly, and changed other parts of my life. I think the terror really was extreme.
