"Multiple universes" is an idea embraced by slackers and precious snowflakes because they think it says, "You may be a loser, or didn't take that golden opportunity, or you got drunk & caused a car wreck, but it's OK -- because it another universe you did the right thing!!!"

Multiple universes doesn't mean YOU are in other realms. Greene, a big proponent of multiple universes, in his book "The Hidden Reality" says since space is infinite and it has "multiple universes" -- well since there is INFINITE universes there has to be one in which cows have wings, and one in which OP is not a faggot, amazing as that may sound. Because if you have INFINITE universes then, well there are INFINITE variations -- they occur because there so many universes. NOT because anything you did or didn't do.

Why do people have such a problem understanding infinities? Are Americans really so bad at math? NO - it does not mean that at all, there is NO such implication here. An infinite series does not have to include all the possible variations. A series of all odd numbers is infinite, but does not include any even numbers, to give a very, very simple example. You can have an infinite number of universes, and yet not have them cover those ridiculous scenarios that people think up. You can even have an infinite amount of universes that are exactly the same, or almost the same for that matter. A reasonable hypothesis would be that there are universes for every possibility for which the probability was above zero, stemming like a tree from the beginning of the universe.

I had a weird idea about infinite universes once. What if every time you die in your sleep, your conscience is wormholed into another parallel universe? For example:

Dimensions or parallel universes? Because I was talking about universes. And if they had a different set of mathematical laws, they would have different laws of physics. We can make the assumption that if a universe is called "parallel", then it is one of the many stemming from the same proto-universe, and differing because of different outcomes of stochastic processes. We have reasons to believe that such parallel universes exist - it was hypothesised by scientists. We have no reason to believe that universes with different laws of physics exist. If they do, they are not related to ours in the slightest, and speculating about them, while maybe entertaining is a moot point.

What is the universe? The universe is everything we observe right? But everyone observes something different. Maybe he lives somewhere else observing another region. he lives in another time observing another age. Or even more directly. You walk through the woods at night. There is some noise in the bush. You think there is a cat in the bush and you walk on. The next guy goes the same route, heres the same noise, but thinks there is a wild beast in the bush, a monster even, and runs away scared. So one guy observed a cat, the other one a monster. How do you know which one is real? You would say the cat one I guess because monsters dont exist. But they do for the other guy. What about people with hallucinations? Is their reality less worth because they see things you dont. But maybe the issue isnt with them seeing it, but with you not seeing it. Now we observe things, and interpret our observations. And this interpretation is our reality. Since everyone interprets stuff differently we all are experiencing different realities. The reality can enhance or alter itself by observing new informations. Some people dont like that. They like their current reality, so they dismiss anything changing, or for them damaging the reality. Thats when ignorance happens. However how can it be that everyone is living another reality? Doesnt science say there are multiple universes? That they all inhabit basically the same space but are still seperated somehow? And informations somehow being able to cross those dimensions?
We are the universe. Everyone is a universe by himself. By talking and communicating we exchange data with other universes. We live on the same planet/same place but still are somehow seperated (by our body) but still connected through communication.
