Can we have a thread on mindfulness?
Basically, it's meditation, being aware of the present and your body. just let your thoughts pass by as if they where clouds.

I just got the app about this, work hsa incentive, made me think about my ass sitting on the chair.
Lately, I've found out that I can easily achieve this state by being gentle in everything I do (i.e. recognizing the sacrality of the world). It's mainly in acts that involves physical contact with something, but also on things like seeing and hearing, which is really tricky to translate into words.
The more or less comfortable situation most us find ourselves nowadays put us in a dream-like state. Not having to be aware of predators, the turning of seasons, the environmental omens nor having to be constantly fearful of death made us impervious to the pulsating Earth and its spirits and deities -- which is terrible for anyone trying to dwell in the occult. Now, trying to counter this lack of genuine spirituality, we behold a baby boom of magickal systems full of intricate list of correspondences, maps of the divine, obscure word usage, fancy philosophy and psychology.
