Perhaps not exactly on-topic, but I saw this painting (or the different studies) be posted over and over in creepy paintings threads and no one seems to know where it comes from. It comes from a series of paintings by Serbian illustrator Dragan Bibin (he does not, however, take part in Spirit cooking, I can vouch for that myself), and or the various composition studies. Basically it's a bunch of painting exercises to convey horror through atmosphere without having any particularly horror invoking symbols or imagery involved.

Second, you would never be able to see stars with the camera's f-stop that low. See how everything is bright? The camera had to close down the f stop to keep the image from becoming washed out. Unless the stars were somehow incredibly bright, you'd never be able to see them

The rumor began in 2013 on the site theparanormalguide.com, while the original source of the photo is a page made (as early as March 2012) in an effort to identify members of some classes from Dunrobin State School No. 3777. The real facts are

If you look carefully, our "dead girl" is not actually in the last row, and not propped up along the wall. The teacher and one other student are behind the "last row" in which she stands.

Plus, the original photo source gives her last name as "Howlett". And identifies the boy to her far right, at the end of her row, as last name "Howlett", too. Perhaps he's her brother? cousin? There is no mention of her being deceased (nor any of Hitler and Eva). So it's quite suspicious that theparanormalguide.com says "all that we know is her last name is Howlett" and makes no mention of the boy with the same last name. Interestingly, the posts adds that despite no records to explain how she died, "She had passed away the previous day"...

FWIW, in my post on the "dead girl" in the class photo above, I tried to go with tiny url's instead, but I got blocked by the spam filter. (go figure.) I also put them together at the bottom cause I thought that looked less shitty/spammy.

I actually think you're wrong on that one, and I'm the guy constantly calling things out on being fake. The only reason the jaw looks more pixelated is because it's the most contrasting line in the image. If you look closely at the rocks and shirt you'll see they're just as pixelated.
Plus his head is casting a very realistic shadow behind it. It even curves around every contour of the rope and rock. The angle of light on his head is also in line with the rest of the image

If it is photoshopped, the giveaway is not the pixelation and it's a very impressive shop indeed

Those post-mortem photographies are pretty much exeggerated. If you browse through them or watch one of those collections on youtube, you can say that about 50% of them are actually alive.
If the eyes are open, that's already a bad sing. Most of the time, they'd prop up the bodies as if they were sleeping with the eyes closed. However, sometimes the photographers would edit the phots afterwards to make the eyes look open. This sometimes looks horrible - but still better than keeping the actual eyes open as they tend to get cloudy pretty soon after death.

The second thing is, that all those contraptions supposedly made to keep the dead body upright were actually made for the living. It's hard to sit that straight for a long time and then even slight movement could ruin the picture. So the photographer would litteraly screw his customers down. Later he'd edit the pictures so the construction could not be seen, but often small parts were still visible. If cou can find them in a picture though, it's not proof of the person being dead and propped up. I have seen countless pictures on the web, were people claimed post-mortem shoots and the person was standing up. That's just complete nonsense.

Furthermore, people weren't completely insane. Something like this "post-morted class photo" would have been highly unlikely as it would have been seen as distasteful and scary for the children. In this case it's complete bogus, especially since the supposed "plank" is part of her collar and the window.
