The only exception for things that you'd actually find on the deep web more than the surface web is the copious amounts of honeypots. And on gore specifically, you can literally find that shit right on YouTube, or Instagram if you know where to go at the right time.

Anyway, modified protocol sounds unlikely, because the main problem with livestream over Tor isn't Tor itself - I'm pretty sure it can do livestreams already. I mean there is no reason why it shouldn't. The problem with livestream over Tor in general is speed, because Tor is notoriously slow. Modified protocols wouldn't help you with that, I'm afraid.

About red rooms - nobody actually confirmed their existence (at least yet). If they do exist (which is possible), their participants probably keep it to themselves. The only notable incident in this area in the last few years was ISIS redroom, which turned out to be bullshit, unsurprisingly.

There is no such thing as red rooms? Of course there is, just like there is real snuff. These people are insane, they want to to evil. The reason you don't see a red room evidence on the surface web is the same reason why you don't see extreme CP and demonic occult videos, they don't want you to understand.
