Only watched first few episodes but it's not bad. It has some good effects, startling good for Syfy, and there's an interesting and foreboding air through each scene. So I'd give it a watch, at least the first episode.

It was very mediocre.In that regard I guess it's a success, considering it was syfy.

I understand people haven't really claimed copyright laws on creepypasta but how are the producers not being approached by the content writers with threats? I saw the previews for this back in September and I knew it came from a creepypasta immediately. If I wrote this shit, I'd be gearing up to get myself my cut of the dough.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, I know it'd be hard to really lay claim to something without an author name. However, I imagine most of the writers have an original draft somewhere that they'd be able to verify through the court system to be the original. I'm just saying it seems to me to be blatant plagiarism through a very well known cable channel. People have been sued for less.

They give the writer credit in the opening of the show. Not sure if it was who wrote the pasta or if it's just a guy who grabbed the story though. It's been years since I read Candle Cove, but I don't remember there ever being a boy made of teeth so atleast they added something new to it.

OP here, just finished watching it... they completely changed everything from the pasta, i mean there were some good scares but wtf with the actual story, nothing made sense... it was about a kid jesus who created a pirate show and then turned into a teeth monster

I liked it. It was creepy - the acting isn't the best
