Are horses this weird to anyone else?

pretty sure horses aren't aliens. however, selective breeding has given them physical proportions that aren't ideal for their survival in the wild. for instance, because of their bone structure they break legs more easily than wild horses. so their appearance is unnatural in the same way as a german shepherd's. that might be part of your uneasiness.

it's also possible you saw something scary with horses in it when you were a toddler and just don't remember it.
