The seven woes is Christ's condemnations to the pharisees who pushed strict adherence o the torah with no spirit in them. What Jesus Christ's new covenant with mankind has done is, because we are all human and cannot possibly adhere to the law totally, we now have an advocate in him, before the Father. Through Jesus we are made innocent before God and can therefore call ourselves His children.
