Kybalion and Liber Null will get you going in my opinion, but it's not the deep dark well you think it is.

Emerald tablet isn't as good as Kybalion imo, and Secret Teachings is basically a dry textbook (it's worth owning and has some crazy shit in it, but it wont fuck your head up).

Crowley is a tough nut to crack, though. You really need to be familiar with the correspondences in Liber 777 to figure out what he's saying most of the time.
