Can someone explain this?
It's a happy piece of tin
tin art representing sun moon and earth?

Yes, it is unusual but there is nothing mysterious or ancient alien about it.

nebra sky disk, oldest known realistic representation of the cosmos yet found, perhaps a kind of astronomical calculational tool to determine planting and harvest times

Looks like a shield from Asia. From the picture I see the Moon and the Sun.

It's the Nebra sky disc, the oldest concrete depiction of the cosmos worldwide and an important archaeological find.
I just thought somebody on /x/ might know more about that.

Yes, I know, you son of a bitch. I asked for a detailed explanation.
>>18388621
It's from Europe.

>I just thought somebody on /x/ might know more about that.
Lol why? You think this is the place where the top archaeologists gather?
>>18388627
Oh, sorry. Not the smartest in the group.
>>18388582
It's art
>>18388628
Because it's astrology. I have absolutely no idea about astrology, but /x/ is full of that.

the nebra sky disk is really only terribly interesting as a bench mark. Weve almost certainly known a lot about the sky way way before this artifact was made. Its really only notable because its the oldest cosmological map that we know about. It really doesnt reveal or tell us anything new, its just a pretty benchmark.

you might be surprised, theres like three professional archaeologists/anthropologists who post regularly on the /omg/ thread.

It's the sun, the moon and the Pleiades. It's a widely used motif in Freemasonry in astrology, in alchemy, and fertility symbolism. See pic related. Albert Pike, and others i'm sure, have tried to explain this symbolism. See morals and dogma, and the secret teachings of all ages..
