I have an interesting story that I still can't find an explanation to. Please tell me what you think.
So anyway, I live in Finland. And in here gifts are given on 24th day instead of 25th. A popular way to give kids the presents is to have parents take the kid(s) somewhere while a relative or a friend brings the gifts under the christmas tree.
However, one christmas eve we never went anywhere and gifts still appeared.
When I was 9 or 10 years old, I used to live in a house built by my grandfather's dad back in the '40s. This house had a bathroom built in middle of it. While inside the bathroom, you could hear almost everything that was going on around the house for some reason.
Anyway, during my 9th/10th christmas eve I could not got anywhere with my family because I was ill, So when my parents left to visit the graveyard (it's a tradition to pay respects to dead relatives during christmas in my family) they left me alone with my dog. Back then I still believed in santa so I camped in the living room and waited for him to come.
Unfortunately I had to go to the bathroom at one point and when I came back, the christmas tree was surrounded by a shit ton of gifts.
I am still confused what the fuck happened that eve.
How did the gifts get under the tree?
Why didn't my dog start barking (it was in the living room with me) if someone came in?
How could anyone enter the house witohut me hearing it?

Your parents had your relative/friend put them there while they were gone, and figured you'd be watching tranny porn and wouldn't hear them anyway. The relative/friends were very confused to see young autistic you waiting for santa claus but didn't wanna let your parents down so they waited til you went and filled your piss jars to put them there and then peaced out.

Windows were impossible to open from the outside and as I said, I would've heard anyone or anything enter the house

Why would your parents bother to even go to the grave yard if they didn't have a plan in place to get the gifts in? They would have waited till you were well to go. Your relatives probably entered the house and hid as your parents were exiting waited for you to go to the bathroom placed the gifts and departed or waited for your parents to get back to depart. I'm sorry but fact is if something like that happened when you kids got a little older old enough to not believe in santa your parents would have thanked you for doing it for them or told the marvelous tale to you. Wait till you get old enough to do this for children of your own and come back and tell us if you believe still.

I'm 26 right now.
I did indeed ask my parents about the mysterious gifts and they admitted that they were planning to hand the gifts out after returning from the graveyard.
however, how the gifts had appeared under the tree that year was a mystery even for them.
I do faintly remember my dad being pretty damn spooked that eve.
