I'm not a really a stoic but I try to push my mind and body to their limits 6 days a week through calisthenics, book reading,isometrics, and mediation. I want to get to the point where I don't have to take shit from anyone or have a boss.

I want to be at the point where I could be tossed out onto the street broke and homeless, yet somehow manage to be competent and efficient enough to have my own business and getting chicks within a matter of weeks. I just wanna be a badass and cool like nightwing, batman, and shit. I want to be to walk up to girls and just say a few words and be inside their pussies in a mere minutes. Maybe even date the girl of my dreams who's like tifa lockhart. I want to be smarter than all those lame brains at mensa. I don't give a shit fame nor i desire it, I also want to go on a grand adventure via scientific or supernatural means.

I just want to transcend this mediocre corrupted society is all and see what's beyond this matrix. Whether it be a god who'll redeem me for my sins or parallel universes that contain world's beyond imagination.

Thanks, but what's really holding back though is my internal spiritual conflict with religion. I know that if i want to take it to the next level i'll have to go all out with meditation possibly even look into chinese qi sciences but my research into theology and society has led me to believe this shit be demonic and evil. Most people would simply give up, convert to christianity and just live a normal yet harsh life and avoid this twisted society but there's not enough evidence for me to give up like that.

I don't want to be a 60 year old man who'll regret giving up on his goals. These fucking normal unambitious 90% sheep ass niggas might be alright with that but not me which is why it makes me so angry that I can only focus half halfheartedly on this. Imagine knowing exactly what you want to do with your life, and finally stumbling across something that can finally change everything for the better and make all the bullshit you put up with finally seem worth it and then you find out its fucking evil and will result in your doom. But you don't know that for sure.

I had an "awakening" and sat for about 8 months months reading the bible over and over in the same chair until I fell asleep on myself. Glass of water in the morning, crackers and water for lunch, and a grain bar for dinner. I was planning to join a hermit colony for awhile, which I probably would still be at if some old friends didnt break me out of that state by randomly visiting for the first time in like 2 years. spent about 3 years after that contantly reading the bible unless I had work to do. Didnt keep the diet. Oh yeah, and no fapping. which honestly didnt bother me. but lots of nocturnal emissions happens so eh, didnt matter.

I was hell bent on it for some time. As a remedy for bad habits askhesis can be effective - as a lifestyle it currently doesn't suit me. But some things still remain:

>morning, day and evening meditation
>yoga asana in the morning
>no fap, no cum when sex (this is a nice skill to have, though I learned it by forcing myself - but hey, the chance to have multiple orgasms without jizz or losing erection is nice anyway)
>cold showers, not in winter though cause I like the comfiness too, now
I'd say I'm åretty lax these days though. I work on myself but try to have compassion and patience instead of ovecoming everything my super ego claims is an "obstacle" with effort and force. It's ok to drink coffee,and smoke a joint erry now and then, it's ok not to continuously recite mantras but allow the occasional drift of thought, it's ok not to lucid dream or project every night but just fall asleep. Turns out it's even ok to have an apartment and not pretend to be a sadhu. Much of my previous askhesis seems now to have been gross overcompensation for various little things - so little infact that the bloated and proud mind would rather see them as demon kings than the petty bad habits they are.
