why does nothing happen to me? i have had my mind open to the possibilities of aliens, entities, spirituality, and many more things that cannot be explained yet i have never had an experience of my own? i have mostly chased enlightenment or awakening of the self but lately this has been turning me somewhat atheistic.

maybe it's because of where i'm at but doesn't hedonism feel, well, wrong? i've always subscribed to the notion that helping others and trying to do works of service to spread love was the path to fulfillment

I keep getting visions of the same thing. There's a figure. An aging man, maybe 50 or 60. He wears a long red robe, has brown sandals on his feet and a thin gold circlet on his head. His hair is gray and his face is aging. He holds a staff which is plain, it's basically just a straight sapling with all the bark removed. We walk along this beach for a while. Can anyone tell me if this sounds familiar, if he has a name, what I can expect from him in the future?
