Death is boring. It takes way too long to die. I'm "fortunate" because I'm always in near death experiences and I obviously dont die. Shit gets annoying after the dozens of times I choke or drown or fall etc. That and I'm clumsy af. Death is merely just unbirthing. You were dead before you were born therefore you should fear it. Besides nothing in death is bad you cant suffer or anything because you'd be dead. Like it's a win/win situation. The maggot feast on your flesh while you're truly in peace. OP, you'll be seeing memories from the day you were inside the womb till the time your soul depart from the body. Of course the memory playback is in different dimension than ours.
Next it will turn black for what it seems like forever but then you'll be seeing people around your empty vessel. Some of them are crying, some of them are already thinking of distributing your wills etc. But one thing for sure, you'll be lingering on the surface for a few days until you are finally called into purgatory. I think you know what purgatory is, right? Once someone accomplish your will, you'll be asked by 2 figures about your deed on this world. Every bad deed will score you a stomp from that figure. For every good deed, your tormented soul will be granted restoration by the other figure. This happen simultaneously, one after another.

I know a lot of other anons said this already but... death is nothing but part of life itself. You come here in this world without even asking for it, and in the same way you leave. But what I'm trying to say is.. whatever you did with your life, and you didn't, you did your best and this alone it's the only most important thing that really matters. Don't let your regrets haunt you in this hard moment, but hold on tight on whatever you did to make yourself and anyone else smile and feel good.
