...I dunno, to be perfectly honest. Tons of cultures all across the world and throughout history believed in 'consuming the foe for power', and sacrifices being slain for power is another exceedingly common theme. There might be something to it, but it would be a transient power that would stain your soul. IE: Not worth it.

Killing someone quite literally means ending that person's life. That means you get power and control over the fate of one person.
But only one person.
It entirely depends on how influential this person you're killing is. If you kill them and they happen to be some super important bigwig, then you're really going to have a lot of power in fucking up people's lives.

Before you get all stabby stabby on someone maybe you should try being a psychic vampire first.

You imagine their aura/energy being sucked off and going into you (navel, solar plexus, or mouth). You can do it from across the room and to multiple people at the same time.

If you do it correctly your victims will get tired, run down, or groggy, and you'll feel alive, energized, and quite possibly get a mega boner.
