Look at far video games have come in the past 40 years. Considering we go in this direction, which is almost a vertical line on the graph, doesn't it seem that artificial intelligence is something that might happen.


Sometimes I play GTA V online and after a 3 star cop chase I end up on a roof. Where one car goes in a loop from the roof to the level just below it. Down and up again. There was no logic behind that programming. Just imagine A.I as a glitch like that only more complex, like a person with dreams aspirations and irrational fears. Now imagine it's everywhere and knows all by communicating to each other and having no real human biological limitations.

Chances are that we are A.I right now building it self in reverse

Or destroying ourselves into something that's net positive
