I'm not sure if I do, I've not seen enough evidence for it yet, but if there was infallible evidence that immortality could be achieved, I would go for it without a doubt.

I'd honestly prefer dying after a really long lifespan to immortality.

Also immortality =/= invulnerability. You'll still be able to get damaged and feel pain and grow older you just won't be capable of dying.
