His house was full of spirits that had such a grip on the home that they would rearrange an entire room while he was gone. The angel answered one of his prayers and told him step by step how to release them from the house he described the aura as extremely comforting considering the whole house was the exact opposite. After telling him how to do it a very brief sound was heard in the room and the voice disappeared along with the touch on his shoulder, anecdotal evidence but still.

I am reading this big book on magic and it is more spiritually educational than anything I have ever read. It's 'waking me up' in a sense, and I have just finished the prefacing parts and am now supplementing it with a book called Raja Yoga by Vivekananda because apparently Crowley references it a lot in his book.

Although I haven't read the book yet, I understand that Crowley claims that summoning one's 'Guardian Angel' is on of the biggest tasks that the book covers. To me the whole thing seems like a more detailed explanation of spiritual things, kind of like how when I discovered Buddhism and yoga I felt like I Iearned more than Christianity ever taught me. I became an atheist through Christianity because it left me thinking that religion is absurd.

Something can feel bad (getting a vaccination injection, for example) without feeling wrong or being inherently evil.

Instinctively you know the difference between right and wrong, but not necessarily between good and bad.

When soemthing feels wrong but you do it anyway, that's evil. When *nothing* feels wrong, no matter what you do, you were born evil and can't process things normally. The part of you that is supposed to understand evil doesn't work any more. You can only change by learning to recognize what is evil, and in general that is anything that causes lasting harm to another person in any way, except where that action is for "the greater good".

The greater good is an abused term, though, and often used to manipulate people into evil actions because they don't understand the true meaning of good (or perhaps also the true meaning of evil).

Don't be a dick. Those people in the death camps have to ASK for help before they'll receive it, and the help they receive, they then have to recognize. Also the results of a prayer have to be non-destructive, without upsetting the balance. An angel won't just come in and smite all the guards in the camp (which would be wrong and would consume too much celestial energy anyway), but they might give you the inspiration to figure out how to get out of there, if you can recognize that inspiration when it arrives, which is unlikely if you're not at least somewhere on the path to enlightenment.

This has nothing to do with what you were talking about, but it's interesting you mention soul mates.

Let me tell you this: Your main purpose of living this life you live is to find your soul mate. I don't mean a fuck buddy or even a wife, but a true soul mate who you love absoultely with 100% sincerity and it is 100% reciprocated.

You can not enter the Kingdom without one, and (this is important), bad luck if you are gay, because the soul mate must be of the opposite gender to yourself. Not necessarily physically, but the spiritual gender must be exactly right (thus women who act male are spiritually male, males who act female are spiritually female, regardless of what is between their legs). But it must be genuine and not just an act... they must truly feel that they are the opposite gender for it to have any benefit.

This is necessary because of the duality. Ferdinand and Isabella are the perfect historical example of this duality.

As for physical gender, there are many things that can cause it to go wrong. Blocking or promoting a certain hormone in the womb during the right stage of pregnancy (from memory, it's about 8 weeks, but I'm not certain and cba to look it up) can reverse the physical gender of the fetus permanently, and there could be all kinds of substances that could do this, with the most likely culprit being alcohol (since it is so widely consumed and circulates freely as a toxin in the blood, plus its derivate, acetaldehyde, which is even more toxic), but there could be many other substances.

Before you scoff and say "ridiculous", consider Thalidomide.

But, yeah, anyway... you need a soul-mate to enter the Kingdom because angels always work in pairs. Somebody mentioned earlier that you have 2 guardian angels, and this is why.

Acutally this is interesting because he never claimed to be the only son of God. In fact, what he indicated through his speech is that we all are sons (and daughters) of God. When told that his mother and brothers had come to visit, he gestured towards the multitude and said these are my mother and brothers, or in other words, we're all one, we're all from the same source... and he was put to death not for what he said, but what others said. In answer to the question "Are you the son of God?" or "Are you the Messiah?" his answer was "So you say". In other words, he was saying "belive whatever the fuck you want", which is pretty similar to what the Buddha said.
