>pretty quiet, like that state when you're close to falling asleep but not quite there
>all of a sudden his dog (who was previously asleep) shoots its head up and stares at the door

>the door that was cracked closed creaks open a little, maybe 2-3 inches

for some reason also when I tried experimenting with astral projection and such I started to have a lot of different bad dreams, not like normal bad dreams but different somehow.

But the worst nightmares are when you use cocaine on a daily basis, those are some real schizofreni demon nightmares, can feel like bad entites/voices/energies try to get in your brain.

no, but there's a certain phenomenon (whose name escapes me right now) that can occur during sleep cycles, especially REM/Dream phase, where you can move around and do things, similar to sleepwalking. Good example of everyday occurrence would be like when someone attacks someone else while they're actually sleeping.
