Could be some really loud fish we've not encountered yet? The only thing that would make the wildlife do that would be an even bigger predator but it's odd, I've read reports about people who have lived on houseboats hearing a similar but smaller thing with schools of fish making humming noises so could be something like that you reckon?

At night some dolphins will dive extremely deep into the ocean and stay down there for like 10-12 hours, which is way beyond how long they should be able to stay submerged.

In the radio interview, the diver who discovered it describes it as a large 3 - 4 meter wide disc, bowl shaped and standing about 1 meter off the ground. He goes on to describe how in the center of the disc it had a perfect circle surrounded by more perfectly shaped, deep bowls cut or molded into it.

His friend believes that it is a lost nuclear bomb from a 1950 B-36 crash.

However, at that time the B-36 would have been carrying a Mk. IV bomb, which is only 1.5 meters wide and just over 3 meters tall.

The dimensions are similar, but the shape described by the diver is very different to that of a nuclear bomb.

It is however just over 2000KM distance between the two, as the crow flies.
