I feel like this question is utterly important because one day we are all going to die, /x/.
So will we respawn? Will I get to see the beautiful sun again?

I'd argue that it either has absolutely no meaning or utter meaning; most likely one in the same. Each fallen leaf falls where it falls, without effort. Those piles of leaves then feed the new trees who produce more leaves. It has no meaning, yet every leaf has a meaning. Maybe one of those leaves might deviate from the pile and help a bird nest, who knows?

>I feel like this question is utterly important because one day we are all going to die, /x/

Why is it important? What will you do if you know there's no respawn? What will you do if there is?

While death is with us as we are dying slowly every second, it is never fully there until the very last moment of your life. Why not talk about life instead of death in this situation? When you're dead, then ponder about death.

"When you die your dead!" Dr.Seuss said
"No if, ands, or buts!"
"But that sucks!", I replied
"tough lucks!, You DIED!" Dr. Seuss sighed.
"So I won't live forever?"
"Nope not never"

>because one day we are all going to die

wrong.

death is something that is different when it happens in the 3rd person and when it happens in the 1st person.

you don't experience death. every universe that your body exists in, but your consciousness does not, will die. but you are the pilot of this one variation of you. you will instead transition painlessly into the next dimension.

Death is a fact in this contemporary life until Transhumanism becomes an actual thing.
>>
>>18294622
You're correct, of course, but some of us do get tired of having the same thread over and over. It gets tedious.

I've started to suspect it's a bait topic. There are only so many possible responses, so OP can't really expect to hear any revelations. Most likely he wants his beliefs reinforced. Either through being told what he already believes, or by arguing with people with different opinions.

A man once said as he was dying that he was looking forward to the moment when his body was dead but his brain was still alive. They say that there's still 6 to 12 minutes of brain activity after everything else is shutdown. And a second of dream consciousness, that's infinitely longer than a waking second. For example, I wake up and it is 10:12, and then I go back to sleep and I have those long, intricate, beautiful dreams that seem to last for hours, and then I wake up and it's ... 10:13. So then 6 to 12 minutes of brain activity, that could be your whole life.
As for reincarnation and where all the new souls come from over time... Everybody always say that they've been the reincarnation of Cleopatra or Alexander the Great... they were probably some dumb fuck like everybody else. It's impossible. Think about it. The world population has doubled in the past 40 years, right? So if you really believe in that ego thing of one eternal soul, then you have only 50% chance of your soul being over 40. And for it to be over 150 years old, then it's only 1 out of 6. Reincarnation is just a poetic expression of what collective memory really is. When a member of our species is born, it has a billion years of memory to draw on. This is where we inherit our instincts.
It's like there's this whole telepathic thing going on that we're all a part of, whether we're conscious of it or not. That would explain why there are all these, seemingly spontaneous, worldwide, innovative leaps in science, in the arts. The same results popping up everywhere independent of each other. Some guy on a computer, he figures something out, and then almost simultaneously a bunch of other people all over the world figure out the same thing.
>>
>>18294090
Don't think of it as the end. Consider it as the nonexistence of the person you are now.

>What happens after death?
go under general anesthesia and you'll get your answer
>>
This again?

There is no 'true' answer, if you will. Try not to dwell on this topic far too long lest you might find yourself in the most tedious puddles of theories to get out of, nothing that anyone says on any part of this planet holds any merit as to what happens after you croak, they are simply trying to deny the fact that humanity as a whole cannot and will never know the answer to this question.
>>
your body rots away, your soul dissolves in the astral / wanders unaware for some time or you maintain your identity if you were adept enough in occult matter
>>
>>18295548
You got that from the gay presumptuous movie right?

New souls are created, while older souls tend to have a deeper understanding of things, enlightened souls don't reincarnate.

The waking life movie is a bunch of bullshit beliefs by random people, don't take them at heart.
>>
That's the thing, you don't actually die, people around you just do.
>>
>>18294090
Death is an illusion, you see those around you die, and they may see you die, but you can never see yourself die. Take this as you will, there is no death.
