Hello again, /x/.
It doesn't feel like it's been that long, but this is the 5th year I've hosted this content dump. Things are going to be a little different this time around, for reasons I'll explain in a later post.
But first, as usual, here's the text dump. 63 creepypastas, 37 saved threads, Youtube and Wiki links, 4,638 Nope stories of 18 genres, and more
.

dump some forbidden occult knowledge.
This will, most likely, be the last year of this. The rate at which stories are added has slowed significantly, and it's really not worth waiting a year for such a relatively small amount of content. As such, the folder's new official home can be found at the site below, hosted by Chris W.:
http://thexarchive.blogspot.com/
Instead of waiting a year for the dump, you can check back every Saturday to see what's new. I'll be updating the site every week when I make the weekly backups of the folder.
The folder linked below contains all of the uploads from last year. This includes books, music, comics, and images, and games:

Here are the legacy text dumps.
2014: http://www.mediafire.com/file/7fv4f74qpx1pbs8/Happy+Halloween+-X-+2014.zip
2013: http://www.mediafire.com/file/gie8a3ui4qg43ee/Happy_Halloween_-X-.zip
2012, the very first: http://www.mediafire.com/file/sdmvrzdcbb00llz/X_Text.zip
So that's that, sorry for the drive-by dump this year. To tell you the truth, it's hard to find the motivation these days, but I didn't want to miss the 5th, it's too nice of a number to end on.
Thanks Librarian, I was looking forward to your thread since the beginning of the day, and you delivered alright.
I'm bummed that you're gonna stop the yearly threads, but I feel ya; you have done a great job so far, and it's not like you're leaving us.
I look forward to your blog and to checking out the entries of this year once I arrive home.
>>18288710
Thank you based Librarian
>>18288710
This is the only reason I still come by /x/. Thank you so much for your services!
Sad this is your last dump but I can understand why.
Props for lasting 5 years Librarian.

wat. its dead
>>18288964
Hm, I guess a regular link doesn't work for folders. Try this: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/o7dv367tmd606/Halloween_2015
>>18289001
>https://www.mediafire.com/folder/o7dv367tmd606/Halloween_2015
works good. Thanks for that and the efforts. Idk what the mods problems are with replacing the outdated sticky
Noooo. I look forward to the dump every year. I can't view x like I normally do so this is how I catch up. I understand but I hate to see you go
Thanks so much pal. Many slow autumn evenings of work and internship were spent reading out of these things. Grateful for your years of work
thanks for the good reads OP. i will miss your annual post
>>18288710
Aw yiss goys!! Time for some spoopy stories!!!
>>18288710
>>18289685
WTF IS THIS? probably the the only thing I'll touch is the link to the x/archive.
Is this a trick or a treat?
>>18288712
>>>18288710 (OP)
I'll do it.
It turns out there is definitely is a god, but just not the kind we tend to think of. He's not fatherly, or kind. He is indifferent, but not negligent.
You, the observer, are god. How can this be? there are so many of us reading this and I, the observer, am god? yes. everyone is an observer. everyone is the same god experiencing it'self through the eyes of the universe that exists within it's mind. We are all god and that's the ultimate truth. This reveals that there is no purpose to anything, because the reason the universe exists right now is BECAUSE it is purposeless and fickle. Reality is created by you, but the whole point is that you don't know it and you're not supposed to be able to consciously influence it, kind of like a dream.
this right here is pretty much the closest you're going to get to the truth.
Thanks dude. I'll miss you.
>>18288710
nice to have all the wikipedia links in one place i guess but i think you need some other sources than wikipedia
>>18288710
Thank you based Librarian, thank you.
Thanks man. I can't belive it's been 5 years.
Bump for a few more hours of visibility.
>>18290883
bumpin' as well
Just to tack this on if anyone is still around: will be updating and making new posts for the /x/ archive site as well. If there is a demand (which I take it there is,) I'd be happy to further optimize and expand what is there so far. I've got some links and books which I haven't found conveniently archived yet, so expect additions!
In addition, the site is getting a bit of a rebrand. The old link will still work, but you can now access the site at http://www.creepyshed.com
>>18289714
A folder full of creepy stories, and OP has been doing it for 5 years in a row. If they had any malicious files, someone would have complained by now.
>>18291408
>>18291424
awesome, glad someone will be keeping an archive going. Perhaps you could organize sections on the sites like the files are in the downloads just so it's easier to navigate. Like have a masterpost for each category with links to whatever
>>18291408
>>18291424
i've got some shit to contribute if you're looking for content and there's anyway to contact you
>>18291674
Absolutely! There's a small contact form on the sidebar at creepyshed.com if you want to drop in an email, and I can get back to you via that.
>>18291661
Yeah, the new arrangement should have more flow. Currently I'm working to get everything cleaned up with the new design.
And just to throw this out there, volunteers are in fact welcome. This is a pretty big undertaking, and if anyone either wants to help with finding or organizing content, there's always room for that.
ive been waiting all year for this
Thank you for doing, this OP.

BUMP CAUSE LIBRARIAN IS BAE
Bump, my man.
The Librarian is the hero that /x/ needs.
Thank you for doing this for so many years.
>>18289204
There have been multiple attempts over multiple years with a fairly exhaustive attempts by /x/philes to overhall the sticky, which is surprising due to the low volume of traffic that posts on /x/ (I come back every couple months for a week or so at most)
the mods have forsaken this board and all who dwell here. Every day the sticky gets more and more outdated and broken. It's like if 4chan was a neighborhood the /x/ sticky would be the tear down eyesore at the end of the street hardly anybody drives down.
>>18288710
Thank you to again for all your hard work.
Last bump.
Hope everyone had a good Día de Muertos.
>>18295446
You too, anon.
Do any anons have that comic/story of the guy that saw the monster, ran outside and got abducted to the stone towers with the black healing water.
Sorry if it's not descriptive I just can't remember much about it.
I remember the OP. Did you used to visit the x IRC?
Is it just me or does the image section not work?
>>18294820
>It's like if 4chan was a neighborhood the /x/ sticky would be the tear down eyesore at the end of the street hardly anybody drives down.
How ironic that many nope stories start with exploring these kinds of buildings.
>>18289720
fuck off Spinoza
Bump. Because bump.
Still looking for someone's input on this >>18298413

Muchas gracias, Librarian.
And again
>>18289714
I didn't find anything in this zip file that was malicious personally, but yeah who know.
be careful.

He's been doing this for five years, it's not like he's suddenly going to give us a virus as a farewell present.
