Same here OP, the second inner voice converses with me, gives opinions (serious/funny/random/bad), we berate each other when one of us thinks of doing a bad thing, the second voice helped me survive through suicidal depression. The voice used to be mostly malevolent, but my 'alignment' struggle with it caused it to change to be more 'good' neutral. It used to give me bad/disturbing thoughts.

To be honest, I'm not sure if it's one inner voice as there seems to be a benevolent voice as well, almost heroic in nature. Although it converses with me rarely, most of the time when I'm praying alone in church.

There's also one that doesn't speak, (like one anon shared here), it took up the malevolence of the first inner voice I described. Distracting me with thoughts of gore/violence/bad thoughts, but these thoughts have been rare lately.

I have had these ever since I was a kid, so I don't really know if having just one inner voice would make me more efficient, as some of my decisions are more of a brainstorm between two parties. I'm trying to control other inner voice as I think it would make me more productive in life.

I'm also an introvert if that would help, I can stay in my room all day, day dreaming or doing neet stuff. I also have bipolar disorder, I'm not sure though as it's a self diagnosis. I have moments of depression and mania (sometimes hypomania). I also have anxiety issues. It's crazy, my brain was fast enough to cope with all these, but I've started to slow down, I cant seem to keep up with other people anymore.

My experience mirrors yours and to be honest I've never found a definitive answer to what the voice is. My voice like yours is extremely helpful and positive. When I tried to explain this to my parents they were worried and a very close friend of mind who doesn't believe at all in the paranormal immediately slapped a schizo label on me.
