Spooky creature encounters/stories, no ghost shit.

i was attacked by naked mole rats once

I was with a few others once by a canal and there were these huge fish with intense eyes that followed us while walking as if they wanted to eat us.

I puked my pants once.

At the time, I was staying at my grandparents spare cabin in BFE during summer break from school. This one late autumn evening I'm on a walk to the store in the deep countryside; No lights and few houses at all for about the entire six~ miles stretch between it and home. One of the bridges on the way to the store was being replaced and there was a little side path you could take to get across next to the hillside adjacent.

Well, along this overgrown and thickly tree shrouded stretch before and and a shortways after it in particular I started hearing what sounded like light footsteps behind and slightly offside of me, but couldn't see anything. It was a subtle thing, but I'd hear rustling and the occasional crunching of dead leaves. Needless to say I put a little hustle in my step until I was within eyeshot of the brilliant electric glow of the store.

Hung out for awhile extra and shot the shit before grabbing my snacks and drinks to ease my nerves. All along the walk back, I had the heebie jeebies because I'd hear the odd leaf crunch. Made it home and locked the place up tight as a drum. Heard soft thuds and creaking boards on the porch some time I'd venture was 3 in the morning. Around the time the sky started to lighten it stopped and I passed out in relief.
