Never done one of these before but I'm having some trouble getting inspired to draw lately, and I've got today free, so I thought I'd turn here. Give me some scary ideas/things to draw, and I'll draw some of them. They'll obviously be done kind of quickly, but I reserve the right to "borrow" ideas in this thread for my own drawing and writing, which will be more polished.
some kinda octopus that is see through and sucks blood and you can see all its organs and the blood moving in it, draw it on a humans arm too please
A woman in robes and a phrygian camp stabbing a sleeping dragon in the neck.

*cap
An open window with an unsettlingly tall man mysteriously floating just above it with his legs dangling down

Hey OP, we have an art/OC thread over here too, if you're interested. Got some pretty good regulars who might be able to give you advice. >>18262944

Hey, thanks, maybe I'll post there.

First one
You'd face the window and just see him floating there
Based on a pretty realistic nightmare I had

My nightmares have come true!
Thanks OP!
>>18275856
:) I actually love drawing nightmares, they're fascinating.

Thanks
These can be pretty scary

Draw this comic: Panel 1, a neckbeard lazily on their computer browsing the internet. Panel 2, they stumble across a webpage about how to invoke a demon. Panel 3, the pentagram and ritual and all that. Panel 4, a neckbeard glowing red lazily on their computer browsing the internet.

corpse-y lady with skin stretched over her eye sockets and needles for teeth, lots of them
not just pointy teeth, i mean actual needles. hundreds of them crisscrossing from the lower and upper rows of where teeth should be.
kind of like that one picture from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark except not.
pls
Hey OP, here's an idea you could try drawing: "A miserable, enshrouded humanoid child with a disfigured face huddling up with the rotting remains of family members in a dark interior."
Kinda like a morbid scene of the child expressing his former affection for his deceased family.

Actually took a while for some reason. Fucking Necky.

Going to bed for now, but these will be the first ones I do when I come back tomorrow. Keep sending them, I'm having a blast.
>>18276748
Sleep tight, OP. I look forward to seeing your rendition of my idea.
>>18276433
Also, do you happen to have a picture of the scary stories illustration to show? I don't remember that one.
Did this in a draw thread on /b/ like a month ago. Im dumping it here as food for thought
Lightly wooded rolling hills, a stream gently rolls through the lowest valley. To the left is a hill, few trees. On the other side of the hill is a gargantuan monster, revealing just his bleeding dark eyes and nose, and a partially concealed grin. He is bald. His head is oblate to the hill, ears are rounded and a little large for his head. His grin is also dark...hollow.....evil
Based on a nightmare I had 36 years ago.
Thank you

Thanks :3

Truly a work of art.

Very cool, I like the indistinct shapes.

I got a nightmare you can draw
A giant spider kidnaps and is dragging me through my house and then it walks through a wall like it's a portal dragging me with it into this weird nightmare world with giant insects and hangs me upside down in a cocoon to eat later.

neat
thanks OP
the pic I was on about was pic related.
but in my dream it was only remotely resembling it.

except I was more wrapped up like an upside down mummy and not a single testicled ball sack. but still thanks for awesome drawing
>>18278643
Oh wow....that's.....incredible. And accurate.
Thank you and well done.
>>18279330
I'm no master painter, part of the point of this is just forcing myself to practice. So thanks, I appreciate it. Care to elaborate about your dream?
>>18279381
I recall the dream would occur several times for about a year. Didn't have the dream afterwards. Lived in the country so none of the weirdo next door neighbor thing. Can't recall if I watched something or not one night that freaked me out. I do remember seeing my step dad shoot our dog (dog was run over by a pregnant lady by accident-it was put out of its misery by a single shot to the skull).
Sometimes the monster on the horizon would change sides. Very rarely would I see it move, on one occasion his head seemed bigger, with the head located on the right side of the frame instead of the left. Interestingly that same dream there were more trees. And his grin.......Christ....that GRIN.....it was something that stuck with me for the rest of my life.
>>18279493
I don't really think anyone could reproduce the horror I felt seeing that thing grin. The monster was basically still life, even with the sinister grin. It didn't help the thing had dark sunken eyes. Some years later my wife suggested it might have been something I've seen at a park (like an old statue).
She has her set of nightmares too, ironically. But unlike mine hers felt VERY real. And involved lying on a metal table, in a grayish, hexagonal room, staring at what was later learned the Earth on her left in a large trapezoid window.....and on the right was a conveyor belt of unconscious naked people going into some unknown dark room. She said she was covered in a thin white gown---unknown fabric. Doesn't know where it came from. The place smelled metallic. Cold. Almost medical, but no surgeons equipment. A voice came into her head and told her to calm down everything will be ok. The voice was metallic, but human. It was inside her head. Then three long rubbery fingers were laid on her face gently and she went back to sleep...
>>18279523
She would recount this dream happening for years. It ended shortly before she met me. She just told me she was about 11 when it first started.
Don't really have any other nightmares, just recurring dreams. Some ended years later when either i accomplished something...or had a life changing event like a baby.
Thanks again anon, you're quite talented.

Holy fuck dude. Really just encompasses the strangeness of dreams coupled with how pants-shitting they can be. Thanks for sharing and for your kind words, those dreams are inspiring in a weird, terrifying sort of way.
>>18275445
How about a drawing of a kid girl being dragged into black ooze/goo and a kid boy trying to save her but getting caught up in it as well
